Oasan P the most covert teen I know

This is a story of my great and covert Nephew: Oasan Palmer.

I said great and covert because of the undermentioned things.

Oasan and I grew up in Bottom Town, correctly known as Rose Place, in Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines; in the Palmer's residence. I knew Oasan before he was born, because I knew him, when my sister was pregnant with him. I even held him as a baby.

The only thing close to cultural activity, I have seen Oasan get involved in; at times he broke-out the Carlton Banks dance (Carlton Banks from the Fresh Prince of Belair). And he did a pretty good job at it; he was also good at doing a wheelie on the bicycle.

However, one day, when Oasan was about 13 years old or there about, He came home with a first place plack, from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Ministry of Culture, that said: Oasan Palmer was a participant in the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Music Festival competition and won first place in the make solo. WHAT!

I was shocked out of my skin. I wanted to know, how was it possible, for Oasan to have a singing voice, which can win first place in the national Music Festival competition and I have never heard him sing.

Me: Oasan Can you sing?

Oasan: If I could not sing, how I will be able to win fist place price at Music Festival!

Me: Oasan how is it possible that you could sing and I have never heard you sing not even a note?

Oasan: Well here is the evidence that I could sing.

Me: Oasan, Sing let me hear you.

Oasan: Just So!

Me: Yeah Just so. I want to hear you sing, I want to hear your singing voice.

Me: Oasan if you were going to participate in Music Festival where did you practiced?

Oasan: I practice in School, where else.

Me Oasan, why didn't you tell anyone in the house you were going to sing at Music Festival?

Oasan: Tell you all fo wa, it is not a big deal.

Andrea: I use to hear him singing in the shower some times when he was bathing.

Me: Which Shower? We only have one shower and we all get ready for school around the same time.

Even today, I would have given anything, just to see Oasan performed even in the preliminaries and to hear his sing. Up to today, I have never hear Oasan SING!
